Festival of Frights Scotch Creek

Things are about to get spooky in Scotch Creek! The Festival of Frights is returning on Saturday, October 24, from 6 to 9pm at the BeTeased Food Truck in Scotch Creek, and the committee is busy preparing for another delightfully scary evening.

Festival of Frights has become a much-loved Halloween tradition in the North Shuswap, bringing together families, friends, volunteers and community members for an evening of Halloween fun. This year, the committee invites trick-or-treaters of all ages to dress-up, come out and enjoy everything the festival has to offer.

Visitors can brave the haunted trail, warm up around the bonfire, and enjoy hot chocolate, hot dogs and candy throughout the evening. A cash bar will also be available. The event is free and open to all ages making it a great way for the whole family to celebrate Halloween together.

Guests are encouraged to bring a donation in support of Sammy’s Forgotten Felines, helping the local organization continue its work caring for cats in need.

There is still time to get involved! Anyone interested in volunteering can connect with the Festival of Frights Committee through our Facebook page, or by emailing info.festivaloffrights@gmail.com.

Mark your calendars for October 24, North Shuswap — we’ll see you at Festival of Frights!
