Celebrate the spirit of Canada on July 1st at Centennial Field, Blind Bay for the 38th annual South Shuswap Canada Day! This free, family-friendly event will recognize Canada’s 158th birthday with a parade, music, entertainment and more.
The day begins with the Sorrento Lions Club Pancake Breakfast, followed by a parade featuring classic cars and floats created by community organizations, as well as opening ceremonies. There will be live music and performances, a kids’ games area, food trucks, a beer garden and a market throughout the day. The event will culminate with fireworks once the sky gets dark.
Festival organizers expressed their gratitude for the many volunteers, sponsors and community organizations who continue to support South Shuswap Canada Day and make it a success year after year.
